Each Family Ties group will meet together for a period of 4 months. There are 3 families for each group. One family from each group will be selected to coordinate a time for their group to get together. The other 2 families will take turns bringing their group together sometime during the 4 month period.
There are many ways to coordinate getting your family ties group together. These are just a few ideas:
-
Invite your group together for dinner in your home.
-
Plan a potluck together at the church on Sunday, or any other day.
-
Go out for coffee or ice cream together.
-
Visit a museum.
-
Go to the park and have a picnic.
-
Plan a mission project together.
-
Study the Bible together.
-
Pray together
-
Visit the nursing home.
-
Go Christmas caroling.
-
Deliver We Care Baskets together.
-
Build crafts.
-
Enjoy hobbies together.
The ideas are endless. Be at liberty to include other people in your plans. The purpose is to intentionally get to know our church family better. Our desire is to have an active, growing, vibrant fellowship with one another. Loving one another as Christ first loved us.
